HOW TO PLAY
JAZAZZ
RULE #1
THERE ARE NO RULES
EVERYTHING YOU’RE DOING IS RIGHT
STARTING SUGGESTIONS
1. DIVIDE INTO GROUPS
It’s always more fun playing together. Smile and get ready to dance. Activate your no-judgement zone!
2. CHOOSE A WORD CARD
Create movement inspired by the rhyme. You may choose one side or combine both. Be creative and have fun!
3. CHOOSE A SHAPE CARD
Add movement that mimics the shapes and squiggles. It doesn’t matter if the dance actually describes the shapes.
4. CHOOSE A PHOTO CARD
Add moves based on the photo. Consider patterns, shapes, subjects, and the vibe. Imagine a scenario happening in the image and act it out!
5. PRACTICE
Work your sequence for several minutes. Memorize and practice your moves! Don’t worry about perfection :)
6. DRAW A MOOD CARD
Randomly choose a pink mood card and choose a side. Adjust the style of your sequence to match the mood!

BEAM VARIATIONS
WARMUP WITH WORD CARDS
Draw a word card. Announce the rhyme as athletes walk across the beam. Instruct them to strike poses based on the words!
GET FANCY
Have athletes choreograph “beam routine” sections. Athletes can add leaps or turns to elevate their sequences!
